Requirements:

• Sound statistical skills – comfortable with fundamentals and first-principles thinking in statistics & machine learning theory.

• Strong engineering fundamentals – writing maintainable code in Python following best practices.

• Deep expertise in at least one relevant domain.

• Careful questioning of existing assumptions and attention to clean data.

• Good communication and ability to filter down requirements to MVP.

• Experience mentoring other team members.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment.

• Experience in designing large scalable distributed systems.

• Knowledge of GCP.

• Proven records of knowledge sharing activities.

• A/B testing knowledge and ability to estimate model effects.
