Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin) - Partner Experience, Quick Commerce

Requirements:

• Expert in distributed systems and web services (RESTful, gRPC, GraphQL).
• Experience in Distributed Systems Architecture (Microservices, Event-Driven, and RESTful Services).
• 4+ years of experience in large-scale applications.
• Demonstrable skills in Java/Kotlin or Go-lang.
• Demonstrable skills with NoSQL databases.
• Experience in working with agile methodologies.
• Experience with message brokers (SNS/SQS, Kafka, or Pub/Sub).
• Professional experience working with relational and nonrelational databases.
• Experience with common CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Drone, and Spinnaker.
• Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Curious, and open-minded with a growth mindset, thriving on continuous feedback.

Nice to have:

• Building, maintaining & running a high traffic system in a microservice environment with Kubernetes.
• Experience in cloud platform hosting via AWS/GCP and terraform/cloud formation.
• Experience with commonly used observability tools for monitoring/alerting/logging/distributed tracing such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog.
• Familiar with Istio Service Mesh, Envoy, Kong Gateway, Council or any other modern technologies commonly used in microservice architectures.
