Requirements

Strong programming skills with 2+ years of experience in Golang and 3+ years designing and developing API-based backend systems.
Solid software engineering expertise, including design patterns, software architecture, algorithms, and automated testing (unit, integration, functional)
Problem-solving mindset with an eye for secure, clean, and pragmatic code.
User-centric approach, passionate about building high-quality products.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing autonomously with occasional guidance.
Curious and eager to learn, embracing new challenges with a growth mindset.

Nice to Have

Experience designing microservices architectures, API-based and event-based communication in consultation with senior team members.
Cloud architecture experience (preferably but not limited to AWS and Kubernetes)
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address challenges in the order delivery process, spanning Order Management, Rider Fundamentals, and Delivery Flow.
Design and develop features that optimize the rider experience
Implement and maintain scalable and reliable systems, which might perform migration and deal with a massive amount of requests and orders
Continuously monitor and optimize the system performance, using both technical and business metrics. We live DevOps!
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Design and implement solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of order delivery through the Rider App.
Craft and maintain world-class, high-traffic services and APIs that support the core functions of the Deliveries Tribe.
Participate in code reviews and application debugging and diagnosis to ensure the quality and stability of our systems.
Practice modern software development methodologies such as Continuous Delivery, test automation, and Agile
Provide the best value for our stakeholders and customers by maintaining alignment with our product vision for the Rider App and the delivery experience.
