Requirements:

A Master's degree in a traditional science subject, ideally computer science, engineering or information systems from a well-regarded university
10+ years of professional software development experience (Python), specializing in NLP and AI
2+ years of professional experience with building chatbots using LLM technology and Conversational Interfaces
People/Leadership skills, able to lead discussions with the PM, Developers, and Design teams
Passionate about crafting simple solutions to complex engineering problems and writing readable, maintainable, well-tested code
Pragmatic and collaborative, able to work independently, make decisions, and take ownership beyond deployment

Nice to have:

Experience with VertexAI
Familiar with common CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, Drone, spinnaker
Familiar with common monitoring/alerting/logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, distributed tracing
Building, maintaining & running a high traffic system in a microservice environment with Kubernetes
Familiar with communication between microservices best practices
