Data Engineering II - (Fintech)

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and experience with SQL
• Experience with big data infrastructure on GCP or AWS
• Experience with Git, Airflow, Python, SQL, BigQuery, and similar tools
• Experience with pipeline and workflow management tools
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Familiar with data privacy regulations such as GDPR or ISO 27001
• Payment, banking, or financial exposure
• Familiar with fast-moving tech business
• Knowledge of dbt and realtime solutions (PubSub/Dataflow)

What You'll Be Doing

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions
• Advocate data engineering best practices
• Ensure efficient data access layer in applications
• Review code and database queries for performance improvement
• Review database queries and storage strategies
