MongoDB Engineer, MTS 2

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent education and experience
• 12+ years experience in designing datastores, data architectures, and data flows
• Mastery of data modeling and query/aggregation design for MongoDB, with significant experience in RDBMS technologies
• Experience designing and implementing datastores for microservices and event-driven applications
• Experience implementing and supporting data governance within medium-to-large organizations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively across functional roles and levels

What you'll be doing:

• Act as a subject matter expert for MongoDB, providing guidance and materials to improve proficiency in designing and implementing applications with MongoDB
• Lead cross-application datastore-related projects, including security, software currency, data governance, and platform migrations
• Consult on database design and queries/aggregations for optimal performance and scalability
• Write efficient code for data management and manipulation, including proof-of-concepts
• Collaborate with teams on data flow strategies and define data storage requirements for microservices
• Guide selection of appropriate datastore technologies for new applications
