Android Engineer (d/f/m)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — ideally completed within the last 12 months.
• Strong understanding of Kotlin and object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with Android SDK and commonly used Jetpack libraries.
• Passion for mobile development and eagerness to learn from experienced engineers.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and ship features for the Shipping module in the eBay Android app, impacting millions of customers globally.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless, user-focused mobile experiences.
• Integrate app components with GraphQL and RESTful services for reliability and performance.
• Use AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and learn modern coding practices.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and technical discussions to contribute to team excellence.
• Strengthen your expertise in Android architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.

Nice to Haves

• Bonus: previous Android app development experience through internships or personal projects, and familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.
