Requirements

8+ years of professional experience in software engineering
Strong full-stack background
Expertise in back-end development using JVM languages (Java / Kotlin / Scala) and front-end development with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and GraphQL
Growth mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

What You'll Be Doing

Designing, building, and optimizing large-scale Generative AI and agent-based systems
Leading development of agent-led user experiences
Advancing eBay’s internal GenAI platform
Monitoring and improving performance, reliability, and responsible AI usage of models and agents
Collaborating cross-functionally with researchers, data engineers, and designers
Driving innovation and iteration through experimentation and integration of the latest advances in AI/ML
