Senior Fullstack Engineer

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Strong full-stack background
• Expertise in back-end development using JVM languages (Java / Kotlin / Scala) and front-end development with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and GraphQL
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, building, and optimizing large-scale Generative AI and agent-based systems
• Leading development of agent-led user experiences
• Advancing eBay’s internal GenAI platform
• Monitoring and improving performance, reliability, and responsible AI usage of models and agents
• Collaborating cross-functionally with researchers, data engineers, and designers
• Driving innovation and iteration through experimentation and integration of the latest advances in AI/ML

Nice to Haves

• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Setting engineering best practices
