Elasticsearch - Java Engineer II - Distributed Systems

Requirements:

• A background in Distributed Systems
• Strong skills in core Java and familiarity with data structures and concurrency constructs
• Deep technical proficiency in algorithms
• Ability to understand and contribute to the development of Distributed Systems
• Practical judgment, prioritization skills, and collaborative ability
• Experience in building and debugging features running on multiple machines
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Nice to Haves (Bonus Points):

• Data stores experience
• Experience with Search, analytics, Lucene
• Strong knowledge of the JDK
• Knowledge of event-driven network frameworks like Netty
