Software Engineer II

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering or security research
• Familiarity with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++, C#, Rust, or a similar language
• Knowledge of software security practices
• Experience in building developer tools
• Advanced knowledge of logic programming or query languages

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Python, Go, Ruby, or Swift
• Machine learning experience applied to source code
• Building integrations with CI/CD systems
• Experience in operating user-facing software at scale

What You'll Be Doing

• Work on expanding CodeQL capabilities in Security Research, Program Analysis, CodeQL Foundations, or CodeQL Experiences tracks
• Innovate to improve CodeQL analysis across various programming languages
• Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and designers to enhance product features
• Engage with internal and external users to ensure product success
• Contribute to the growth of the security product and influence organizational culture
