Compliance - London - Trade Surveillance Strategist (Strat) - Associate

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, or computer science)
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Capital Markets
• Exceptional programming skills in object-oriented languages
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals
• Excellent proficiency in mathematical modelling and quantitative analysis
• Experience in data analysis and/or scalable machine learning systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining quantitative models and algorithms for detecting suspicious trading behavior
• Conducting risk assessments and fine-tuning surveillance systems
• Developing signals and running back-testing and simulations to validate accuracy
• Working with large scale structured and unstructured data
• Collaborating with various stakeholders and teams
• Monitoring performance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring peers
