Requirements

• Excellent academic record in a relevant technical field such as computer science, physics, mathematics, or engineering
• Strong programming skills in an object-oriented or functional paradigm such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
• Entrepreneurial individual with self-management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and interact with global stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Haves

• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems modeling complex and electronic workflows in finance
• Previous technical role working on or with a derivatives trading desk (irrespective of asset class)

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop unified global cross-asset derivatives quoting platform with electronic and client connectivity
• Deliver high regulatory and controls framework to ensure compliance with regulatory standards in high-frequency trading applications
• Integrate with external platforms and clients using industry standard protocols such as FIX and REST
• Build rich, high-throughput, and performance-sensitive user applications using the latest web and server-side technologies such as React/Java
• Use both open source and internal proprietary technologies to build cutting-edge platforms
• Work closely with sales and trading to deliver innovative solutions to automate manual workflows
• Be part of the vibrant global derivatives engineering team and use your engineering skills to impact business decisions
