GBM – Software Engineer - Electronic Trading - Associate - Stockholm

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Productive in programming in an object-oriented language
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to challenge status quo and automate manual tasks
• Ability to drive complex change to completion in collaboration and independently
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts, topologies, and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

Nice to Haves:

• C++ programming experience
• Experience of low-latency systems, including messaging and network protocols
• Working knowledge of order management systems
• Knowledge of financial markets

• Play an active role in ensuring trading applications remain best-in-class and fit for expansion
• Maintain and develop the platform for accessing equity and derivatives exchanges
• Implement solutions related to order routing, dissemination of market information, controls evaluation, and the transaction platform
• Tackle complex software engineering problems and collaborate across business functions
