Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting, and with Android application development.
Experience working on Java or Kotlin.
Nice to haves:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
Experience working on Swift/C++.
Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
What you'll be doing:
Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that improve the user's Pixel experience. Define and implement Pixel-specific capabilities that make Pixel stand out amongst all Android devices.
Ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into Pixel's software and hardware components. Work closely with UX designers to advocate user-centric, intuitive design principles and advocate for user delight and accessibility.
Collaborate with hardware, product management, and other teams to bring Pixel's unique features and experiences to market.
Explore and experiment with new mobile and AI technologies, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on mobile devices.
Write technical designs and participate in technical discussions.
