Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
Nice to haves:
Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
3 years of experience in specialized testing such as production testing, system integration testing, etc.
1 year of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
What you'll be doing:
Take ownership of software quality by developing and executing comprehensive test plans, ensuring thorough coverage and adherence to best practices. Coordinate feature testing with QA testers.
Enhance and maintain the testing infrastructure, creating new tools and processes to improve testing efficiency and team productivity.
Participate in product design reviews and share testing expertise with the engineering team to promote testability and early defect detection.
Drive ongoing improvements in test coverage, effectiveness and cost-efficiency, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions.
Lead efforts to improve stability testing processes, ensuring the software's reliability and performance under various conditions.
