Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with data structures/algorithms and software development in one or more programming languages

Nice to haves

• Experience in large-scale systems design.
• Experience with software engineering.
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

What you'll be doing

• Work on the availability, scalability, efficiency, and latency of one of Google Cloud’s most critical services, collaborating with the development teams on design, architecture, and processes.
• Contribute to projects critical to Google Cloud’s success.
• Respond to and resolve problems, then develop software and automation to prevent them from happening again.
• Participate in fostering a great team culture, and collaborate with our development partners in California and Bangalore.
