Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience in managing data lakes, warehousing, data migrations and using Extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools to integrate data from multiple sources.
Experience in working with Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) database management systems.
Experience in querying and managing datasets using SQL and programming using Java.

Preferred qualifications:

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
Experience with data migration strategies and moving large-scale production systems either in on-premise/data center environments or migration to cloud scenarios.
Experience working with services (e.g., Spark, DataFlow/Beam).
Experience working with Java or C++.
Knowledge of private and public cloud design considerations and limitations in the areas of virtualization, global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, networking.

Build large-scale systems and infrastructure to enable migration to BigQuery and different Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
Take initiative and be responsible for technical solutions from concept to landing.
Work with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to decide on the goal and scope of the BigQuery and migration assistant product.
Lead designs for major software components, systems, and features.
