Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience coding in a general-purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, or JavaScript, etc.) or in system design.
Experience in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Experience in one or more of the following: test automation, refactoring code, test-driven development, build infrastructure, optimizing software, debugging, building tools, and testing frameworks.
Nice to haves:
4 years of work experience, including experience in networking, storage, systems architecture, compilers, operating systems, or modeling and analysis.
Experience in network programming or developing/designing large software systems.
What you'll be doing:
Analyze production data to identify gaps, error patterns, and opportunities for system improvement.
Design, develop, integrate and test the features for B4 availability, scaling, New Product Introductions (NPIs).
Debug/Root cause issues in an integrated B4 ecosystem including traffic engineering and admission control.
Prioritize work and ensure that incremental progress is made even if the issues at hand are difficult to solve in a short period of time.
Help team members and partner teams in understanding the context, and solve the right issue at the right time.
