Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
3 years of experience working in production distributed environments with TCP/IP and networking concepts
Experience in one of the areas of infrastructure (Linux, Kubernetes, Networking, Storage, etc.)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 2 security clearance (SÜ2) under the German Classification Act (SÜG)

Nice to haves

Experience with SRE or IT production systems engineering
Experience in technical writing or a related field, and familiarity with various authoring and content management tools
Experience with scripting (i.e., Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.)
Good understanding of physical server, storage, and network devices
Good relationship-building skills and the ability to empathize with customers and understand their needs
Good communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Perform complex day-to-day troubleshooting and resolution of Infrastructure issues (Network, Storage, Servers, OS, Kubernetes, etc.)
Interact with customers as well as internal development organizations to accomplish shared goals successfully
Work closely with technical writers, Google partners to translate technical details into clear, concise language for documentation
Participate in Customer, Partner, and Internal team Deployments and trainings with international travel required
Participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation to support escalations from customer deployments
