Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience working in production distributed environments.
Experience in TCP/IP and networking concepts (e.g., PXE boot, Subnets, VLANs, Jumbo Frames, LACP, NIC Teaming, Unicast/Broadcast/Multicast, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, SSH, etc.).
Experience with Load Balancers (F5, HAProxy, Apache, etc.), Cisco Nexus 7000/6000/5000/2000 platforms, vPC, FEX, FabricPath, ISSU, dual stack IPv4/IPv6 deployments, and VLAN, STP, LACP, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF, BGP.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Level 2 security clearance (SÜ2) under the German Classification Act (SÜG).

Nice to haves

Experience in SRE or IT production systems engineering.
Understanding of Linux, Kubernetes and Storage.
Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and understand their needs.

Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.

Define clear objectives, processes, and metrics for internal reference GDCH deployments.
Collect, document, and analyze feedback and communicate findings effectively to development teams.
Interact with internal development organizations in order to accomplish shared goals successfully.
Participate in Customer, Partner, and Internal team deployments and training as needed which will require international travel.
Participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation to support escalations from client deployments as well as internal reference deployments.
