Software Engineer III, Android, Chrome Identity

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting
• 2 years of experience with Android application development

Nice to haves:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience developing accessible technologies

What you'll be doing:

• Dive deep into Chrome's code base, primarily using C++ and Java.
• Design, implement, debug, and refine new features for Chrome Identity on Android
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Contribute to the code infrastructure and documentation
• Uphold a high standard for code quality, participating in code reviews and ensuring optimal performance
• Work with other teams and cross-functional peers (product managers and UX engineers), refine the product requirements
