Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in DWDM or TCP/IP or system design operations methodology.
Experience with fiber types and their application, physical fiber characteristics, and standard testing tools (e.g., OSA, BERT, OTDR).
Experience in telecommunications, particularly at carrier class scale with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer 2/3 routers, and data services.
Nice to haves:
Experience in telecommunications at scale with a strong working knowledge of large network infrastructure, optical transport systems, routers, third-party leased network assets, and installation vendors.
Experience in developing and implementing automation solutions for network deployment or similar processes.
Experience with process improvement or process engineering methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, lead technical projects, prioritize, manage project timelines.
Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
