Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.
Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.
Experience with TCP/IP-based, routing, and network management protocols.
Nice to haves:
Experience with planning and designing large scale networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.).
Experience working in a customer-facing role at an Internet Service Provider, carrier, content network, or Content Delivery Networks(CDNs).
Understanding of cloud computing, Linux server environments, network design and deployment, managing large scale infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing:
Create workflow, network monitoring/troubleshooting automation to improve the customer experience while driving process improvements, and automate turn-up and service delivery.
Help customers resolve issues with network services, and assist with troubleshooting issues with connectivity and performance.
Validate and test customer configurations in an Interoperability lab environment.
Lead improvements in documentation, playbooks, and training for support organizations and Network Operations Centers (NOCs).
Participate in on-call rotation for escalated issues.
