Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in Java/Kotlin and data structures and algorithms.
2 years of experience with Android application development.
Experience building and shipping Android applications available on the Android system or Play Store.
Nice to haves:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Experience contributing to, or working with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
Experience building user-facing applications and services with a focus on user experience and performance.
Experience in using tracing and profiling tools to debug and optimize Android app performance.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
What you'll be doing:
Write product or system development code.
Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
