Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of Power generation systems experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
Experience working in the control room for critical operations.
Troubleshooting experience for power generation systems, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Nice to Haves:
Experience investigating failures and performing data analysis.
Knowledge on Cooling Systems (e.g., HVAC equipment, Chillers, Cooling Towers) Mechanical systems (i.e., Fire and Safety Systems, Pumps, Tanks, Piping).
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to perform maintenance or projects on the systems.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, procedures, and equipment.
Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations/shifts.
What You'll Be Doing:
Be responsible for the uptime, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Stand by Power system (Generators and systems associated), aleatory water pumps and water treatment systems, HVAC, and Control and Monitoring Systems.
Operate, monitor, maintain and respond to abnormal conditions in the data center facilities systems and equipment.
Monitor multiple information streams in the control room and make accurate mission-critical decisions.
Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new equipment and systems into facilities infrastructure.
Produce standards and templates for global control/monitoring system analysis, diagnostic, preventive maintenance, and trend logs for data center critical facilities systems.
