Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
1 year of experience implementing core Machine Learning concepts.

Experience in safety-adjacent fields, such as factuality.
Experience in content safety, as applied to software products.
Experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, Python.
What you'll be doing:
Be a part of a global team of engineers building content safety classifiers to safeguard business-critical products that represent significant business, market share or value to Google, including GenAI-based experiences both server-side and on-device.
Deliver quality, future-proof and performing infrastructure, and you will protect users from exposures to offensive, sensitive or potentially harmful content, and unlock new opportunities for the business.
Be among the founding Machine Learning Engineers joining the team and contribute to the server and on-device protections. You will be responsible for growing the team by interviewing qualified candidates, actively mentoring the team around you, and accountable for the team's deliverables.
