Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling.
2 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
2 years of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
Preferred qualifications:
3 years of experience responding to security problems, security alerts, analysis, and response.
Experience in Python, Go, C/C++, or Java.
Experience with signals development and threat hunting/modeling.
Experience in the analysis of datasets and intrusion detection systems.
What you'll be doing:
Identify security issues and implement/design security controls, tools, and services to improve security systems and processes.
Participate in a 24/7 global operation for hunting and responding to security events on Google's networks.
Perform investigations on various events to determine threats to Google.
Collaborate with teams across Google to enhance detection capabilities and logging sources.
Create and develop new tools to scale detection capabilities.
