Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
Experience working collaboratively on projects and with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience developing web applications, Android apps, and/or native desktop applications.
Experience developing operating systems and system software.
Understanding of operating system development, the web and Android development landscape and a passion for driving innovation.

Drive the design and implementation of major components of the application platform and work closely with less experienced engineers to help them contribute. Collaborate with cross-functional team members to prioritize, plan, and scope these projects and to develop product strategy and roadmap.
Design and implement platform foundations including the components required to build, install, test, run, configure and monitor applications on ChromeOS.
Design, implement, and extend web APIs to power new use cases (e.g., access to system services, background mode, AI acceleration, etc.).
Collaborate with the technical lead manager and other senior team members as a tech lead, helping to mentor, grow, and develop the team.
