Software Engineer III, Google Cloud

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms
• 2 years of experience with developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture

Nice to Haves

• Programming experience, preferably in Go or Python
• Familiarity with ML techniques (e.g. anomaly detection)
• Interested in analyzing data, identifying patterns and trends, and turning them into actionable recommendations

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop software for automated analysis of network anomalies
• Build software systems used for handling large amounts of networking data
• Analyze data and dig into networking issues
• Build automation to facilitate integration of visibility and mitigation pipelines
