Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
Nice to haves:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience with Chromium or web browser development.
Experience working on large-scale distributed systems.
What you'll be doing:
Write and test product or system development code.
Lead the design and development of web compatibility tools, techniques, and mitigation to help websites adapt to evolving web privacy standards, including the adoption of new anti-covert tracking technologies.
Lead the design and development of the Android compatibility infrastructure to help mitigate and fix user breakages.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to executive engineers, fostering their growth and development.
Drive the development of new web standards and best practices in collaboration with the wider web community.
