Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineer
- Experience with Tray test stations (L10) or Rack testing (L11) bringing-up including gauge correlation
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in establishing system calibration, gauge repeatability and reproducibility, and correlation study for each change management
- Experience with test time, yield improvement, and optimization
- Experience collaborating with NPI and engineering teams on new products and drive all sustaining test issues
- Knowledge with the Linux and Window operating system and common command line tools and Python/Basic Shell Script
What you'll be doing
- Design, build, deploy, sustain and optimize Rack test and L11 test platforms for Google's global manufacturing partners
- Partner with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to define design for test Design For Test (DFT) requirements and provide lessons learned input to Manufacturing Test Strategy
- Provide caliber Manufacturing Test Engineering support for new (collaboration) and existing products (sustaining)
- Drive Rack Test initiatives to Scale Rack Test, improve test process efficiencies, improve test coverage, and reduce cost
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes. Drive issues to closure with preventive measures
