Software Engineer II, Fitbit Health Platform

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Nice to haves:

• Experience testing, maintaining or launching software products.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.

What you'll be doing:

• Migrate existing Fitbit services to the Google ecosystem.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor mission critical platform and user facing features.
• Ensure the life-cycle and performance of services are met.
• Collaborate with different teams inside Google (e.g., Identity, Product Security, Customer Support, Product Management, feature development teams, Site Reliability Engineering).
