Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
2 years of experience with Android application development.
1 year of experience in Kotlin programming language.

Nice to haves:

1 year experience in API Design, Android Libraries, Declarative Programming or API Development.
Experience delivering mobile application interfaces written in a reactive framework such as Jetpack Compose, React, or Swift UI.
Familiarity with Android and Chrome ecosystems as an end-user and as a developer.

Build new functionality in the Jetpack Compose codebase and occasionally in the views (Android platform) codebase.
Work and iterate on API design with input from the team & community.
Collaborate with other Android teams with guidance from leads.
Focus on delivering key requirements in our foundation layer to enable the Android XR form factor.
