Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in Dense Wave-Division Multiplexing (DWDM) or TCP/IP or system design operations methodology.
Experience in telecommunications at carrier class scale and with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers and data services.
Experience with fiber types and their application, physical fiber characteristics, and standard testing tools (e.g., OSA, BERT, OTDR).
Nice to Haves:
Experience in developing and implementing automation solutions for network deployment or similar processes.
Experience with process improvement or process engineering methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Experience in telecommunications, with knowledge of network infrastructure, optical transport systems, routers, third-party leased network assets and installation vendors.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, lead technical projects, prioritize and manage project timelines.
Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-motivated selection-making.
