Software Engineer III, Embedded Performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development in C or C++ programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms
• 2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems
• Experience with Android Internals

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Linux/Android Internals
• Experience with Embedded systems

What you'll be doing:

• Work on CPU, memory, energy profiling tools and work extensively with users or customers
• Manage both with on-device code in the open-source repo and google3/server-side pipelines that ingest and process millions of traces
• Work on internals of Linux/Android and interesting working on specialized developer tools
• Work with stakeholders and peers
