Software Engineer III, Infrastructure, Shopping Metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 2 years of experience with developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• Experience in C++ and debugging.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with production life-cycle (e.g., releases, monitoring, on-call, etc.).
• Experience with debugging production systems or batch pipelines.
• Experience with F1 query, Flume performance optimization.
• Knowledge of SQL.

What you'll be doing:

• Build batch processing infrastructure.
• Build low-latency client serving infrastructure.
• Optimize existing batch or low latency workloads on the platform.
• Support new clients onboarding into the platform.
• Participate in the team's on-call rotation.
