Software Engineer III, Infrastructure, Google Cloud

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with System Engineering and Distributed Computing.
• Experience with SQL, Go Lang, Python, and Java.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and improve the team's ability to detect vulnerabilities, and develop mitigations for risks.
• Identify Cloud vulnerabilities related to Change Management.
• Develop system-wide mitigation for risks that may be distributed as changes or other broad rollout techniques.
• Approach teams across TI/GCP and negotiate the best approaches to mitigate the risks that those teams are exposed to.
