Principal Staff Software Engineer, AI and Data Infrastructure

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development and with data structures/algorithms in Python.
• 7 years of experience in leading technical project strategy, Machine Learning (ML) design, and optimizing ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
• 5 years of experience with speech/audio, reinforcement learning, or related ML field.
• 5 years of experience with design, architecture, testing, and launching software products.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• Knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) model development and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of ML systems and infrastructure for production.
• Ability to develop use-case specific definitions for data and balance trade offs.
