Software Engineer ll, Pixel Infrastructure

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 1 year of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Android, Android Builds, AOSP and the Android Stack.
• Experience in continuous deployment / testing environments, automated testing setups, hardware emulation.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and implement tools to help shape and validate our new and latest family of Pixel products.
• Design and implement software that uses emulated hardware that runs in our own continuous infrastructure.
• Contribute to continuous test systems for core Pixel software components.
• Establish automated quality control and gates.
• Develop insights by automating metric collection through software from small and large device populations.
