Senior Software Engineer, V8 Security

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Swift).

Nice to haves:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience in developing accessible technologies.

What you'll be doing:

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Guide design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
• Develop and maintain the V8 fuzzers.
• Work new ways of guiding fuzzers through better metrics and better detection of V8 invariant violations.
• Help triage bugs found through the various fuzzers.
