Software Engineer II, YouTube Studio

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Nice to haves:

• Experience coding in TypeScript or C++.
• Experience or knowledge in web frameworks.
• Experience or knowledge in user experience measurement.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and implement scalable and robust end-to-end applications (working with UX designer and product manager) encompassing various aspects.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Solve complex, open-ended problems and help creators understand and succeed on YouTube.
• Adopt or build new technology for the product and constantly improve technical and soft skills.
• Build robust infrastructure and invest in code quality in general.
