Senior Software Engineer, Mobile, Wear OS

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with Android application development.
• Experience working with Java or Kotlin.

Nice to Haves:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with power and performance optimizations on battery operated devices.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience working with wearable devices.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Write and test product or system development code. Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback.
• Contribute to documentation or educational content and adapt based on product/program updates.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues.
• Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Comply with company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
