Data Center Plant Engineer

Requirements

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of Electrical or Mechanical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Experience working on projects in a data center environment.
• Experience in Electrical or Mechanical maintenance and operations of a data center.

Nice to Haves

• 7 years of experience in maintenance of mechanical/cooling distribution systems or electrical distribution systems.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting utilizing standard tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems or electrical systems.
• Ability to communicate with contractors performing maintenance or upgrades.

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Provide leadership for critical system troubleshooting and repairs with little supervision.
• Operate critical plant equipment as authorized.
• Provide coordination/input for global facilities programs.
• Respond to critical data center events and alarms.
