Data Center Equipment Manufacturing Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer in an industrial environment

Nice to Haves

• Experience with high voltage equipment and systems (transformers, switchgear, protective relays)
• Experience with power system analysis and design software (ETAP, SKM PowerTools, EasyPower)
• Experience with LEAN Manufacturing/5S/8D practices
• Experience with industry standards and codes (IEEE, NEC, NESC)
• Knowledge of overseeing yields improvements and cycle time reductions for volume and complexity parts
• Ability to influence the product design process by proposing improvements with associated data

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and maintain influential relationships with Google's global manufacturing partners
• Design, develop, and advocate the implementation of scalable manufacturing processes and systems
• Collaborate with design, product management, and operations teams
• Analyze and interpret production data
• Use Product Data Management (PDM) systems to create Bills of Materials (BOM)
