Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience as a Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineer.
Experience with Tray test stations (L10) or Rack testing (L11) bringing-up including gauge correlation.
Nice to haves:
Experience in establishing system calibration, gauge repeatability and reproducibility, and correlation study for each change management.
Experience with test time, yield improvement, and optimization.
Experience collaborating with NPI and engineering teams on new products and drive all sustaining test issues.
Knowledge with the Linux and Window operating system and common command line tools and Python/Basic Shell Script.
What you'll be doing:
Design, build, deploy, sustain and optimize Rack test and L11 test platforms for Google's global manufacturing partners.
Partner with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to define design for test Design For Test (DFT) requirements and provide lessons learned input to Manufacturing Test Strategy.
Provide caliber Manufacturing Test Engineering support for new (collaboration) and existing products (sustaining).
Drive Rack Test initiatives to Scale Rack Test, improve test process efficiencies, improve test coverage, and reduce cost.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes. Drive issues to closure with preventive measures.
