Software Engineer II, Full Stack, YouTube Studio

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• Experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Nice to haves:

• 1 year of experience with web or mobile application development.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience with GEN AI would be an advantage.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and implement scalable applications.
• Write product or system development code including front-end/UI for web and mobile.
• Develop back-end server logic.
• Perform GenAI prompt and agentic engineering.
• Work with User Experience (UX) designers and product managers.
