Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Nice to haves:
Experience with technical might include Google's Kotlin/Java Android stack, Google's Kotlin/Java server environment, and Android native development.
Experience working with teams in other timezones.
Ability to build user-facing products to help you hit the ground running.
Ability to be enthusiastic, have technical curiosity, and a desire to build excellent products.
What you'll be doing:
Write product or system development code.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Build highly engaging, interactive gamer profile experiences in surfaces across Play, creating APIs bridging Gamer Profile data with UI surfaces, compiling pipelines computing player status and stats, contributing to a broad and technically challenging space.
