Data Center, Mechanical Facilities Technician

Requirements

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, or Controls/Automation experience in an industrial/commercial environment
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment
• Ability to work non-standard hours and work rotations/shifts

Nice to Haves

• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants
• Experience in maintaining mechanical systems, keeping safety systems reliable, or maintaining building infrastructure
• Ability to analyze data and get to the root cause of problems

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems
• Provide daily assistance to technicians
• Manage the uptime and maintenance of water pumps, HVAC systems, and control systems
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new mechanical equipment
