Network Engineer, Network Reliability

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers
• Experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Go or Python
• Experience with IP networking in a production environment

Nice to haves:

• Experience developing networking products, technologies, software and protocols
• Experience with carrier-class routers and switches
• Ability to debug, optimize code, and to automate routine tasks
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems

What you'll be doing:

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of networks from inception and design to deployment and optimization
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and push for changes that improve reliability and velocity
• Work with other team members to analyze requirements and develop solutions and policy recommendations
• Lead development of production network infrastructure through engineering design documents and specifications
