Manufacturing Test Engineer - Prague or Remote; Czech Republic

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Test Engineer.
• Experience in testing server or system hardware.
• Experience with Linux operating system and Python programming or equivalent (e.g., C).

Nice to haves:

• Experience working with contract manufacturers.
• Experience in establishing system calibration, gauge repeatability and reproducibility, and correlation study for each change management.
• Experience with test time, yield improvement, and optimization.
• Experience collaborating with NPI and engineering teams on new products and drive all sustaining test issues.
• Experience working with network switch, power supply or distribution unit (PDU), rectifier.

What you'll be doing:

• Design, build, deploy, sustain, and optimize rack test and Level 11 test platforms for Google's global manufacturing partners.
• Partner with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to define Design For Test (DFT) requirements and provide lessons learned input to manufacturing test strategy.
• Provide caliber manufacturing test engineering support for new collaboration and sustaining existing products.
• Drive rack test initiatives to scale rack test, improve test process efficiencies, improve test coverage, and reduce cost.
• Analyze and troubleshoot the root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes. Drive issues to closure with preventive measures.
